Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 11:05AM

ZUARIAGRO(up 8.74%), & Fertilizers(up 4.28%), Madras Fertlizers(up 4.06%), & Petrochemicals(up 3.94%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.14%), Fertilizers (up 2.98%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.62%), G S F C(up 2.49%), Aries Agro(up 2.29%) and Coromandel International(up 1.49%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 5.00%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.64%), Agro Phos(down 2.81%) and & Fertilizers(down 1.74%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 4.45 points up at 16589.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 47.32 points at 55613.73 at around 11:05AM.

JSW Steel(up 2.8%), NTPC(up 2.34%), Tata Steel(up 1.46%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.36%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.25%), Coal India(up 1.14%), Asian Paints(up 1.11%), HDFC(up 0.81%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.6%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.57%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 2.34%), Enterprises(down 2.04%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.73%), Britannia Industries(down 1.43%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.38%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.36%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.32%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.21%), SBI Life(down 1.16%) and Nestle India(down 1.12%) were trading in the red.
