CGST Chandigarh celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by organizing Walkathon

More than 250 participants, including the members of Cycleworx Club, officers of the GST offices, local residents etc. participated enthusiastically in this walkathon.
CHANDIGARH: Central GST (CGST) Commissionerate, Chandigarh organized a massive Walkathon on Tuesday morning to celebrate the Government of India’s programme Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM). The theme was World No-Tobacco Day as per the calendar’s events made in this regard.
More than 250 participants, including the members of Cycleworx Club, officers of the GST offices, local residents etc. participated enthusiastically in this walkathon. The walkathon was flagged off at the Sukhna Lake Bird Park Century and moved around the Sukhna Lake loop and culminated at Sports Complex, Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.
Aruna Narayan Gupta, Chief Commissioner, CGST Chandigarh Zone, Hardeep Batra, Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Chandigarh, Suman Bala, Commissioner, CGST Appeals Commissionerate, Chandigarh were present during the event.
