PM has given huge funds to Odisha: Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

BHUBANESWAR: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday asked people to come forward to fulfil the vision Prime Minister Narendra Modi has for Odisha.
Speaking at a public meeting at Mahanga in Cuttack district to mark eight years of the Modi government, the minister said nobody has taken the responsibility of Odisha’s development the way Modi has done.
“From road and rail to industrial infrastructure, Modi has been giving huge funds to Odisha. However, money sent by the Centre is not being properly used by the state government. The state government has been allotting works on partisan basis. While jealousy of the government in Odisha has been rising towards Modi government at the Centre, Odisha people’s faith has been increasing,” he said.
“While on one hand there are eight years of good governance, Odisha on the other hand is the victim of 22 years of arrogance of power of the state government,” he said.
Pradhan also slammed the Naveen Patnaik government for not implementing Centre’s Ayushman Bharat scheme.TNN
