Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.88 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 1.44 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.56 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.54 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.43 crore), Bata India(number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.34 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.29 crore) and Indian Info Sof(number of shares traded: 0.25 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 16.55 points up at 16601.1, while BSE Sensex was up 80.32 points at 55646.73 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 3.04 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 2.37 per cent), .(up 1.58 per cent), Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) and .(up 1.45 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.33 per cent), .(down 1.80 per cent), .(down 1.67 per cent), .(down 1.42 per cent) and .(down 1.39 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
