CHANDIGARH/MOHALI/PANCHKULA: Chandigarh reported 10
Covid cases on Monday while four patients were discharged. Active cases have reached 106 while positivity rate has been recorded at 1.23%. There are 92,416 confirmed cases, including 1,165 deaths.
In Mohali, six Covid cases and no death were reported on Monday. There are 49 active cases. Of the 96,031 cases reported so far, 94,833 patients have been cured. The district's death tally is 1,149. Meanwhile, 1,163 people were vaccinated in
Mohali on Monday. The first dose was administered to 156 persons, including 43 in the age group of 15 to 17 years and the second to 632 including 106 in the age group of 15 to 17 years, while 443 in the 12 to 14 year bracket got jabs. A total of 375 persons received the booster dose.
Panchkula reported two fresh Covid cases and no death on Monday. This leaves 18 active cases in the district. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Mukta Kumar said that out of 44,342 Covid cases reported so far, 43,910 patients have been cured and discharged from the civil hospital in Sector 6. A total of 6,23,587 samples have been taken in the district so far.
