Kidnapped man rescued, 3 arrested

Rajkot: The Junagadh police on Monday rescued a man, who was kidnapped because his brother gave shelter to a person who had fled with a girl.
According to police, three people had kidnapped Deva Bidhor in a car from his house on Bagasara-Ghed road in Mangrol taluka on May 27. Bidhor’s brother Balu had given shelter to his brother-in-law Jitu Erda who had feld with a girl. When Bidhor came to know about the abduction of his brother, he approached the police and expressed apprehension that it was because of the grudge harboured by the girl’s relatives.
The police started a search operation and using technical surveillance, they got to know that the kidnappers were taking the victim to Porbandar. They were caught between Madhavpur and Porbandar and police arrested Manda Rabari, Rana Rabari and Visa Kodiyatar, all residents of Ranavav taluka of Porbandar district.
