2 from Mysuru drown in sea off Panambur

Mangaluru: Two persons from Mysuru reportedly drowned off Panambur beach while swimming on Monday.
The police identified the deceased as Diwakar Aradhya,40, and Ningappa, 65, from Jayanagar in Mysuru.
The two had arrived from Mysuru on May 27 with two other people to take part in the jackfruit mela in the city. After the mela on Sunday, they went to Panambur beach around 7 am on Monday.
While swimming, they were probably caught in the rip current and drowned, the police said. A case has been registered at Panambur police station.
