ReutersNEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1688.21 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1656.35 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 1327.81 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1288.46 crore), M&M(Rs. 1157.96 crore), Jubilant Food(Rs. 919.91 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 889.61 crore), Ltd.(Rs. 843.53 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 816.79 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 765.89 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 308.95 points up at 16661.4, while BSE Sensex rose 1041.08 points to 55925.74.
In the Nifty index, .(up 4.96 per cent), Mahindra & .(up 4.78 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.49 per cent), .(up 4.48 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.78 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 2.21 per cent), .(down 1.74 per cent), .(down 1.73 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and .(down 0.06 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
