Getty ImagesPrime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 11th tranche of cash benefits of Rs 21,000 crore to more than 10 crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) initiative in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on May 31, 2022. The agriculture ministry made this announcement via a statement on May 29, 2022.
“In this national level programme called "Garib Kalyan Sammelan" in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Shri Modi will interact with the beneficiaries of 16 schemes/programmes run by 9 Central Ministries/Departments through video conferencing. He will release the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, worth over Rs. 20,000 crores, to more than 10 crore farmers,” stated the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare statement.
On January 1, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. IST, the 10th instalment of the PM-Kisan program was released, as well as the equity grant to Farmer Producer Organization Scheme.
For PM Kisan beneficiary to be eligible to receive the installment, eKYC is required to be done mandatorily, which can be done by Aadhaar-based OTP or the nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC. The eKYC deadline for all PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended until May 31, 2022.
How to check if PM KISAN 11th installment is credited online
Step 1: Visit PM Kisan official website - https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2: Click on ‘Beneficiary status’ tab in right corner of the page
Step 3: Enter Aadhaar number or account number
Step 4: Click on ‘Get data’ tab
Details of the status will be displayed depending on the beneficiary. Also, to receive the amount, your name should be in the beneficiary list.
How to check your name in beneficiary list in PM KISAN

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PIV-KISAN) is a new Central Sector Scheme that would give income support to all landholding farmer families in the country to help them meet their financial demands for agricultural and allied inputs, as well as home needs. The Government of India would bear the complete financial responsibility for transferring benefits to specified recipients under the Scheme.
The PM-KISAN program offers qualifying farmer families with a financial incentive of Rs 6,000 per year, payable in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000.

2. lf there are multiple farmers' families whose names are recorded on a single landholding whether each farmer's family is eligible to get benefit of the scheme?
lf so, what is the quantum of minimum financial benefit that such families will get under the scheme? Each of such farmer family would be separately eligible for the benefit under the scheme upto the extent of Rs. 60001 provided they are otherwise eligible as per scheme guidelines.
3. Will be monetary benefit under the Scheme be directly credited into beneficiary accounts?
Yes. The financial benefit under the scheme shall be directly credited into bank accounts of beneficiaries.
