15 new, 118 active Covid cases in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: The city on Friday recorded 15 new cases of Covid-19. With 19 patients discharged, the number of active cases in the city was 118.
The state reported 23 new cases and 33 patients discharged, with 194 active cases.
The other cases included four from Vadodara, three from Gandhinagar and one from Rajkot cities.
There are now 22 districts with no active cases. Not a single patient is on a ventilator.
Gujarat in the past 24 hours vaccinated administered 3,651 first doses of Covid vaccine and 59,444 second doses. In all, 5.39 crore people have had at least one dose and 5.25 crore have had their second dose as well.
The state administered booster doses to 32,690 persons, taking total number of these doses to 32.9 lakh.
Meanwhile, NID's Gandhinagar campus reported seven cases in five days. The campus has been declared a micro-containment zone.
