BIKANER: A woman belonging to a nomadic community in Ratangarh town of
Churu district was allegedly held hostage and gang-raped by five men for nine days in Narhar village of Chjirawa tehsil in Jhumjhnu.
She was allegedly given sedatives before being abducted and sexually exploited by the accused during her captivity. Mahila police station SHO Sukhram Chotia said the 26-year-old survivor in her complainant alleged that on May 17, while she was sleeping, the accused including a woman, drugged her and took her to Narhar.
In her complaint, she said when she regained consciousness, she found herself locked in a room where accused
Jagdish, Prakash,
Daulat Ram,
Gopal and
Balluka raped her in turns with the help of woman identified as
Jadav.
