
Indian Institute of Technology’s are one of the best recognised Indian brand in the world and possibilities in IIT’s are going up says Dr S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister while addressing the students, faculty and staff members of IIT Guwahati.
In his address he urged the students to have a problem solving approach in their engineering so that it would benefit the society. He further said that engineers must have a vision for their country. Speaking on the occasion he said that last 8 years have been very important for our country as the present government is trying to approach the longstanding issues which are existed in our society.
Speaking on the occasion, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam said that, IIT Guwahati has immense potentiality which need to be properly explored. He said that IIT Guwahati is known for its environment of academic excellence in the entire country. The globally competitive human resource and research activities carried out at this institute has significantly benefitted our society, he added.
