Berhampur: The survivors of the bus accident in
Ganjam district on Tuesday night reached their native village in
West Bengal on Thursday morning along with those who died in the accident. A bus was arranged by the Ganjam district administration to take 45 passengers and the six deceased home. “The passengers as well as the deceased have reached their native places,” Ganjam SP Brijesh Rai said.
On Thursday, a team from West
Bengal visited the
MKCG Medical College and Hospital and enquired about thepatients. “They wanted to take the patients back to their own state,” said Keerthi
Vassan V, sub-collector, Berhampur. “Since most of the patients are in a state of trauma and want to go back to their own state, we will arrange an AC bus with an ambulance to send them home,” Vassan said. tnn
