Yogi Govt Sets First Budget Of Rs 6,15,000 Cr For Various Special Schemes

The first budget of the second term of the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh was presented in the assembly on Thursday. The government presented the first budget of about Rs 6 lakh 15 thousand crore in the Legislature on Friday for the financial year 2022-23.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna has presented the budget. This budget was also very special for Purvanchal. In this budget, the government has opened the treasury for Purvanchal. Under the Special Area Program, a budget of Rs 700 crore has been kept for Purvanchal.

In this budget of Yogi government, Rs 100 crore has been arranged for the first phase to start metro rail in Gorakhpur and Banaras. Along with this, a budget of Rs 113 crore 52 lakh has been passed for the Ayush University to be established in Gorakhpur. At the same time, Rs 100 crore has been given to Prayagraj for the preparations for the Kumbh to be held in 2025. Rs 500 crore will be given for the construction of a four-lane model road from Rajghat bridge to Ramnagar for Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga Darshan and Ganga Aarti Darshan in Varanasi.

Bundelkhand has been given a budget of Rs 700 crore along with Purvanchal under the Special Area Programme. Rs 500 crore is being given separately for special schemes of Bundelkhand region. An arrangement of Rs 3.50 crore has been made for the development of Chitrakoot Dham pilgrimage. Apart from this, Mahoba is also involved in the development program of new industrial estates.

On the other hand, Rohilkhand has not got anything in the budget. The voters of Bareilly division had put 21 out of 25 seats of Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and Badaun in the BJP's bag. The vacant land of the closed rubber factory of Fatehganj Western, Fatehganj Western for a long time in Bilwa, located on Nainital Road, Bareilly But all the projects including Industrial Area, IT Park in CBganj, AIIMS were expected to be implemented.

In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022, a different picture was revealed in Purvanchal. The Samajwadi Party Alliance showed great strength in the districts of Varanasi, Mirzapur and Azamgarh divisions. In the districts of Azamgarh and Ghazipur, the BJP has become clear. The BJP alliance's seats were reduced from 41 to 29, while the SP alliance got 31 seats, which is more than double the last election. At the same time, the by-election is going to be held for Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, about which BJP wants to make its name in any case. Azamgarh Samajwadi Party has been a strong fort.
