Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(number of shares traded: 5.71 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 3.90 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.28 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.14 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 1.52 crore), Orient Green Pwr(number of shares traded: 1.38 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.20 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 0.94 crore) and Hindalco(number of shares traded: 0.85 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 83.7 points up at 16253.85, while BSE Sensex was up 272.82 points at 54525.35 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 3.19 per cent), .(up 2.25 per cent), .(up 2.24 per cent), .(up 2.21 per cent) and .(up 2.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 4.28 per cent), .(down 1.70 per cent), .(down 1.65 per cent), .(down 1.59 per cent) and .(down 1.19 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
