PM Narendra Modi should respond to Telangana issues, says TRS

PM Narendra Modi
HYDERABAD: TRS leaders demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond to the issues being raised by the Telangana government during his visit to the state on Thursday.
“Whenever the Prime Minister comes to Telangana like a guest, he only addresses the people and does not announce any financial benefits to the state,” TRS MLAs KP Vivekananda and Kaleru Venkatesh said at a press conference. The MLAs said the TRS government has been raising issues on financial support, closure of PSUs, recruitment in central government departments, discrimination against the state government and other issues.
The Centre was not responding to these questions. The BJP government was not only encroaching upon the state powers but also taking over state properties in the PSUs.
Now we also demanding the Centre to protect the HMT assets, KP Vivekananda said. MLA Kaleru Venkatesh said union minister G Kishan Reddy, who represented the Amberpet assembly constituency for 18 years, did not fail to resolve issues and get funds.
