Ludhiana: The Cambridge Board results for
IGCSE, AS and A level are out and the city’s schools have come up with a commendable performance. United Kingdom’s Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), which assessed their students, is world’s largest provider of international education programmes, considered to be one of the most challenging curriculums globally.
At BCM Arya International School,
Shastri Nagar, the 11 students who were assessed for A level have achieved 16 A stars and 10 A’s. Aadish Gumber, Avneet Singh, and Saaransh Gupta topped with 4 A stars each. Paarvi Verma scored 3 A stars and an A. Ishmeen
Kaur topped the AS level with 4 A’s (highest grade). Aashray Bansal, Sanya Arora, and Silvia Sethi bagged 2 A’s each in various subjects.
The 25 students assessed for the IGCSE grabbed 47 A stars and 40 A’s. Abigail Anna scored 6 A stars and an A, followed by
Satvik Sood with 5 A stars and an A. Aakriti Sharda, Fatehjit Singh, Jaskriti Kaur, and Aarnav Jain bagged 4 A stars. Aarnav Jain and Devyansh passed the ICE with distinction and merit, respectively. School Principal paramjit Kaur congratulated the teachers, students, and their parents for the achievement, for which she gave credit to the the teaching methodology. Cambridge training head Jasneev Seth wished them success.
Sacred Heart Convent International School, Sarabha Nagar, declared its IGCSE results for the second batch, across 14 subjects in 5 groups. The 15 candidates from the school’s 2021-22 batch accounted for 35 A stars and 29 A grades. Puneet Kaur Grewal received A star grade in all her opted subjects. She amassed 7 A stars, while Meharnoor Singh and Sanna Arora achieved 6 A stars each. Bhavish Mohan Jain with 5 A stars , Sanaaz Sanan with 4 A stars, Gurdev Kaur with 2 A stars and 4 A’s, and Kanica Jain with 7 A grades were other prominent names on the result sheet.
