Guwahati: A court on Monday remanded the six arrested accused of vandalising and setting a police station on fire in
Assam’s
Nagaon district to five-day police custody, police said.
SP Leena Doley said, “Six persons were arrested and 12 were detained in this connection. The detained persons have been released after their involvement in the incident was not found during the probe.” She added that police recovered one handmade revolver and four rounds of 9mm live bullets from the residence of accused Iman Ali and 6,500 drug tablets from accused Majibur Rahman’s residence during the search operation last night.
