
An 18-year-old gunman shot dead 14 children and a teacher at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday, the state's governor said.
The assailant "shot and killed, horrifically and incomprehensibly, 14 students and killed a teacher," Governor Greg Abbott told a news conference.
He said the shooting suspect, a local teenager, was also "deceased," adding that "it is believed that responding officers killed him."
Two are dead, over a dozen injured, after a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital tells CNN. The hospital's received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries. Suspect is in custody.

Uvalde Memorial Hospital said on Facebook that 13 children had been transferred there for treatment. It said two were deceased on arrival.
