Thiruvananthapuram: The mega exhibition-cum-sale fair ‘
Ente Keralam’, being held as part of the first anniversary celebrations of the LDF government, will begin on Friday.
Education minister
V Sivankutty will inaugurate the festival at Nishagandhi auditorium at 5pm on Friday.
Ministers Antony Raju and G R Anil will also be present on the occasion.
Food courts, sales stalls, service stalls and exhibition stalls being organized by various departments will be the main attractions of the fair. The entry to the fair is free.
Kudumbashree, SC department, prisons department, Milma, fisheries, KTDC and Meat products of India will set up stalls as part of the festival. Art programmes will also be held as part of the event.
Six units of
Kudumbashree will offer delicacies of various kinds like juice, dosa, biriyani, fish curry, chicken curry, etc. Payasam prepared by tribal community will be featured in the stall of Integrated Tribal Development Project. Food items prepared from tuber crops will also be offered for sale. Food prepared by various prison units will be served as parcel at the prison stall. The fair is from 10am to 10pm.
