Stalin reached
Salem district on Monday evening to participate in slew of events. He will release water from the Stanley Reservoir in Mettur on Tuesday morning for kuruvai crop cultivation in delta districts and he will also address a public meeting at Attur on the same evening.

S Karmegam and several others welcomed Stalin at Salem airport on Monday evening. Accepting their wishes, the CM proceeded with his journey to Mettur in a van. He would stay in Mettur to participate in the water release event on Tuesday morning.
After the event, he is scheduled to chair a meeting with the district administration in Salem before leaving for Attur to participate in a meeting, to mark the completion of one year of the DMK government, around 4 pm.
