Sahebganj mining officer finally turns up at ED office for interrogation

Ranchi: Days after the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) issued summons, Vibhuti Kumar, the district mining officer (DMO) of Sahebganj eventually turned up to face interrogation in the Mnrega scam and other wrongdoings of suspended mining secretary, Pooja Singhal.
The ED’s interrogation of Singhal, Kumar and the Ranchi DMO Sanjiv Kumar in the case was continuing till late evening.
Kumar arrived at the ED’s office at around 10:40 am on a scooter in a bid to avoid the media and went straight inside the office.
He had earlier cited marriage ceremony of his daughter as the reason for delay in visiting the ED office for questioning.
