Intelematics finds a new chief product officer in Finney Featured

Vehicle data specialist Intelematics has appointed Robert Finney to the role of chief product officer.

"Over the past twenty years Intelematics has developed an enviable reputation as a leader in mobility solutions. To stay ahead of the curve and bring the most innovative connected vehicle technologies to market, we need to draw on the best talent," said Intelematics CEO Nick Marks.

"Robert's product expertise and business strategy skills have played a pivotal role in embedding best practice, building strategic partnerships, and successfully executing product and commercialisation strategies at some of Australia most high-profile companies."

Finney joins Intelematics from Mondo, where worked as energy services product manager.

He previously worked as a senior consultant at SixSix, a product and agile coach at EPA Victoria, head of moving services at Australia Post, White Pages senior product manager at Sensis, and business development manager at Sigma Healthcare.

Finney holds a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Queensland, and an MBA from the University of New South Wales.

"Australia is on the cusp of an electrified vehicle evolution and I am looking forward to helping Intelematics play an integral role in paving the way for smarter, more connected, forms of travel and transport," said Finney.

"Over time, connected vehicle technology will help to reduce emissions and make our roads safer. I am excited to be part of a team helping to develop the next wave of products which will have a positive impact on both our roads and lives."
