NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 10:29AM
Torrent Power(up 3.05%), Suzlon Energy(up 1.66%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.65%), Alstom T&D India(up 1.42%), Adani Power(up 1.39%), Reliance Power(up 1.21%), KEC International(up 1.06%), Inox Wind Energy(up 0.59%), Jyoti Structures(up 0.56%) and Hitachi Energy India(up 0.39%) were among the top gainers.
Orient Green Power Company(down 5.00%), Indowind Energy(down 3.32%), Energy Development Company(down 3.29%), JSW Energy(down 3.27%), Gujarat Industries Power(down 2.75%), ADANIGREEN(down 2.73%), Adani Transmissions(down 2.29%), PTC India(down 1.59%), Inox wind(down 1.12%) and NHPC(down 0.93%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 61.95 points down at 16152.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 161.02 points at 54127.59 at around 10:29AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.65%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.19%), JSW Steel(up 1.0%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.9%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.76%), State Bank of India(up 0.73%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.7%), UPL Ltd(up 0.68%), Reliance Industries(up 0.66%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.47%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 5.55%), Grasim Industries(down 4.49%), Hindustan Unilever(down 2.33%), Infosys(down 1.78%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.67%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.66%), Enterprises(down 1.59%), HCL Technologies(down 1.48%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.46%) and Larsen & Toubro(down 1.21%) were trading in the red.
