Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GMR Infra(number of shares traded: 10.53 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 10.35 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 5.16 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.60 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 2.96 crore), Adani Power(number of shares traded: 2.46 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.28 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.14 crore), (number of shares traded: 1.58 crore) and Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.49 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:05AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 53.7 points down at 16161.0, while BSE Sensex was down 120.2 points at 54168.41 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent), .(up 1.71 per cent), .(up 1.31 per cent), Mahindra & .(up 1.15 per cent) and .(up 0.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 4.55 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 4.06 per cent), .(down 2.71 per cent), .(down 2.38 per cent) and .(down 2.12 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
