PANAJI: A North Goa court has sentenced Rajesh
Singh Dalal and Bramaprakash alias
Braham Prakash Sharma from Haryana to six years imprisonment for
culpable homicide not amounting to murder of their employer. However, since the accused had already undergone the entire sentence, the court stated that they “shall be released if not required in any other crime”.
The court convicted them under provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The public prosecutor submitted that maximum punishment be imposed on them keeping in mind the manner in which they committed the offences on their employer
Kartar Singh of Haryana, with 23 injuries.
The victim was involved in the transport business and had two lorries. The two accused were employed by him as drivers. Kshama M Joshi, additional sessions judge,

Ponda, found that the prosecution proved the last seen theory of both the accused with the deceased, and that it also proved the link of the guilt of the accused on the basis of other circumstantial evidence.
It was the case of the prosecution that on March 8, 2016, Ponda police station received a phone call about a male person lying near Vishnu Somnath Temple at Keryem, Ponda. The victim was found lying in a supine position, and the police observed injuries and bleeding on the eyes, neck and abdomen.
