Both the smartphones offer the same specifications and the difference lies only in terms of battery unit and fast charging. The Pro version has a 5,000mAh battery that has support for 67W fast charging. The Plus model features a smaller 4,400mAh unit and the company has provided support for 120W charging tech.
The devices have a 6.6-inch FHD+ LTPS display. The panel has support for 144Hz refresh rate, but users don't get an AMOLED screen. The company has opted for an LCD display for the Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, which is backed by up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The new Redmi phone ships with Android 12 out of the box. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, and more. It even has support for Wi-Fi 6 as well as NFC.
In terms of optics, there is a triple rear camera setup, including a 64-megapixel primary camera. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, one will find a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The 5G phones are IP53 rated, so they will be able to survive water splashes. Xiaomi has kept the 3.5mm headphone jack, which some users might appreciate.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro comes with a starting price of CNY 1,799, which is around Rs 20,930 in India when converted. As part of the launch, the device will be made available at a discounted price of CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 19,770). The Redmi Note 11T Pro+, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 23,260). The mentioned price is for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
As of now, there is no word on when the new Redmi Note series phones will arrive in India. There are chances that the devices could be launched in the country under Poco branding, considering Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Max smartphones in the Indian market.
