16 new Covid cases recorded in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: A day after the city recorded one of its lowest daily cases of Covid in May at five on Sunday, cases again remained above 10 on Monday. Ahmedabad recorded 16 of the 24 cases in Gujarat.
With the discharge of 26 patients, the active cases in the city reached 104, whereas the active cases in Gujarat were 182 after the discharge of 30 patients.
The other cases included four from Vadodara city, two from Bhavnagar city, and one each from Ahmedabad and Kutch districts. With the update, 10 of the 33 districts have active cases.
Gujarat in 24 hours vaccinated 7,310 persons for the first dose and 1.14 lakh for the second.
