NMDC Ltd(down 10.34%), Pokarna(down 9.14%), KIOCL(down 5.26%), Lexus Granito(down 3.14%), Dvpt Corporation(down 2.95%), Aro Granite Industries(down 1.18%), MOIL(down 0.77%), Coal India(down 0.75%), Ashapura Minechem(down 0.47%) and Oriental Trimex(down 0.40%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 74.3 points up at 16340.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 353.27 points at 54679.66 at around 11:15AM.
Maruti Suzuki(up 4.17%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.9%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.46%), Britannia Industries(up 2.31%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.18%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.12%), Asian Paints(up 2.0%), Enterprises(up 1.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.83%) and Titan Company Ltd(up 1.82%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, JSW Steel(down 12.93%), Tata Steel(down 12.21%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.33%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.18%), ITC(down 1.77%), UPL Ltd(down 1.65%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.31%), Coal India(down 0.81%), Shree Cement(down 0.78%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.53%) were trading in the red.
