Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:14AM

KRISHANA(up 5.23%), Sikko Industries(up 2.65%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.85%), & Chemicals(up 1.38%), Fertilizers (up 1.33%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.15%), & Fertilizers(up 0.86%), Coromandel International(up 0.84%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.68%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.36%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 4.95%), & Fertilizers(down 4.79%), Madras Fertlizers(down 2.45%), & Fertilizers(down 1.48%), ZUARIAGRO(down 1.21%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.18%), Aries Agro(down 1.09%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.92%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 66.85 points up at 16333.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 307.85 points at 54634.24 at around 10:14AM.

Maruti Suzuki(up 3.99%), Hero MotoCorp(up 3.17%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.62%), Enterprises(up 2.26%), Asian Paints(up 2.25%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.23%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.8%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.74%), Tata Motors(up 1.66%) and Britannia Industries(up 1.61%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Steel(down 11.69%), JSW Steel(down 11.52%), Hindalco Industries(down 4.5%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.24%), UPL Ltd(down 2.02%), ITC(down 1.93%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.58%), Coal India(down 0.83%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.74%) and Shree Cement(down 0.49%) were trading in the red.
