3,526 people land jobs at Hosur job fair

Krishnagiri: DMK MLA and youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin handed over employment offer letters to 3,526 people at a mega job fair in Hosur on Sunday in the presence of ministers R Gandhi and C V Ganesan, and district collector Jeyachandra Bhanu Reddy.
The mega job fair was organized jointly by the district administration and the department of employment and training. At least 16,151 job seekers participated in the camp that featured 262 employers.
While addressing the gathering, Udhayanidhi said this was the 58th mega job fair to be organized by the department of employment and training in the state. “It had organized 57 mega job fairs and 549 micro employment camps across the state since June 2021, helping 75,475 people bag jobs with various private firms. After today’s camp, the number of beneficiaries has shot up to 79,001.”
