LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday held an all-party meeting ahead of the scheduled budget session of the Uttar Pradesh assembly set to begin on Monday.
Chairing the meeting, Adityanath appealed to all the party leaders to lend their support in running the House peacefully.
This will be the first session of Uttar Pradesh assembly after Bharatiya Janata Party returned to power with an emphatic win in the recently concluded state polls.
The session will also be different as it would be conducted under National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA), entailing a paperless system – even though some of the legislators have been demanding hard copies of the documents.
Leaders of all parties were present in the meeting, which was held regarding the budget session of the assembly.
