CHENNAI: South Eastern Railway has diverted a train from Chennai and partially cancelled a train to Villupuram due to non-interlocking work at Adra Junction railway station in West Bengal. No 22611 MGR Chennai Central – New Jalpaiguri weekly superfast express scheduled to leave MGR Chennai Central at 10.45am on May 25 will be diverted via Hijli, Tatanagar, Chandil, Anara, Joychandi Pahar and Asansol. No 22605 Purulia – Villupuram junction bi-weekly superfast express scheduled to leave Purulia at 10pm on May 30 will be cancelled partially between Purulia and Adra. The train will commence its journey from Adra at 10.50am.
