Drinking water supply in NDMC area reduced by up to 60 pc: Civic body member to Delhi CM
New Delhi Municipal Council member Kuljeet Singh Chahal has written to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal claiming that the drinking water supply in the civic body's area has been reduced by up to 60 per cent for a fortnight. Chahal claimed that the average supply of potable water to NDMC is 125 MLD whereas the supply received in the last 10 days was only 60-70 MLD, thus affecting major hospitals as well as schools in the area. Man shot at in Shahdara, one accused arrested
A 32-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot at allegedly by a group of three men in Krishna Nagar area of Shahdara on Tuesday morning, police said. The injured has been identified as Jitender alias Jeetu, resident of Ghondali, they said. He was immediately taken to Max hospital in Patparganj as he was critically injured, police officials said. Out to buy ice cream, man shot in face in robbery bid
A 35-year-old man was shot in his face during a robbery in west Delhi's Hari Nagar on Sunday. Police said four unidentified men in a vehicle grabbed a gold chain from the victim's relative and when Pradeep Singh Sandhu tried to fight them off, one of the criminals fired at him. Ghanshyam Bansal, DCP (West), said Sandhu was taken to hospital and is out of danger. "Several teams have been formed and CCTV footage from the area is being scrutinised.
