Tourism Industry Stakeholders Association design city tour of Shimla

The Tourism Industry Stakeholders Association has designed a city tourof Shimla. This city tour will comprise heritage monuments, green belts of Shimla, Glen, Annandale, Army museum, state museum, Bird Park, Indian Institute of Advance Study, Sanat Art Foundation, Chadwick Fallsand railway museum among others.

MK Seth, thepresident of the associationsaid that they willadopt the matter concerningthe opening of vistadome tourist coaches with hop-on and hop-off (HOHO) facility for Shimla city sightseeing tour initiated by the Himachal state government.

This ideais expected to increase the duration of stay of the tourists by one day along withlessening the traffic burden on roads, said Mr. Seth. Tourists visiting Shimla can easily board or de-board the bus from any site and would be able to spend as much time as they wish at one place minus any problem. This service is expected to accommodate many tourists in a day since it will run between CTO – Annandale — Chadwick Falls via the Indian Institute of Advance Study up and downnumerous times in a day. The idea is being considered to boost tourism in Shimla and its adjoining areas to a great extent.

The said bus service can carry a lot of travelers in any working day. Himachal, along with its iconic tourist attractions like Shimla and Manali attracts a swarm of tourist throughout the year!
