Coming in at number five is the only gaming story on our rundown and it is about the free skin pack for Fortnite. Yep, you read that right. Free.
Beginning May 19, the Volcanic Ash-sassin skin pack is available for free on the Epic Games Store. Our report states that "The skin pack is a reskin of Komplex, which first saw the shimmer of the spotlight during the Summer Smash Cup event."
Stories about vulnerabilities and exploits have always been popular here on iTech Post and it is no surprise that one of the stories about it has made it to the top five list.
This past week, we reported that VMware was in the process of fixing CVE-2022-22972 and CVE-2022-22973 due to fears that they were being exploited. The Amazon-owned cloud computing company was doing so after "the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued Emergency Directive 22-03 to tell federal agencies that they must either fix the CVE-2022-22972 and CVE-2022-22973 vulnerabilities and uninstall affected VMware products by May 23, 2022."
Coming it a number three is the first of the two stories we mentioned that is about people who trended on Twitter. For this story, it is the Dallas Mavericks' Luca Dončić and Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns.
NBA fans and basketball enthusiasts can recall that the Mavericks won Game 7 of their series against the Phoenix Suns, ending the game with the score of 123-90. A particular image from that game, specifically one that features Dončić smiling at Booker, quickly became a meme and trended on Twitter.
Heads up, Verizon users! The company has decided to raise the prices of their wireless plans.
Users should expect the price change in their phone bills for the month of June. The increase in administrative charges will range from $1.35 to $3.30 for each voice line. Beginning June 16, business customers will see an increase of $2.20 a line per month for mobile phone data plans.

You have to be living under a rock to not know that the defamation trials involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is ongoing. As Heard was cross-examined this past week, Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, trended on Twitter. Vasquez is the member of the actor's legal team who conducted the cross-examination.
