Family builds OPD centre in Ludhiana hospital in memory of their son

The centre which has been named after late Angad Singh was inaugurated on Sunday
LUDHIANA: In a generous cause for the society, family of renowned young entrepreneur Angad Singh, who passed away last year, upgraded Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital in Model Town by equipping it with the modern OPD centre.
The centre which has been named after late Angad Singh was inaugurated on Sunday in a ceremony which was presided over by his family including father Tejvinder Singh, chairman of Avon Cycles Onkar Singh Pahwa and father in law Upkar Singh Ahuja besides others.
Speaking on the occasion Ahuja, said, “Angad passed away last October 2020 in his prime youth, along with being a known businessman, he was the frontface for many social and sport initiatives in the city. A huge void occurred due to his sad demise at such early stage of his life and it is very hard to fill it. Everyone is so heartbroken after his loss and only way we can give a befitting tribute to a person like him is by doing something for the society. Therefore Big Ben Group decided to upgrade Krishna Charitable Hospital model Town in memory of late Angad Singh. The family took this decision to upgrade the hospital in all respect and extent wholehearted support to the hospital. This hospital is well managed and managing committee is honest and hardworking, moreover medical doctors and staff are dedicated to treat the patient with great care.”
Other prominent persons present in the program included office bearers of the managing committee of hospital including GL Pahwa, Khushbhakat Rai, Harish Singla, Parmod Sharma.
