Jaydeep Kawade, working president, People’s Republican Party
Nagpur: The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government is completing two and a half years and yet to fulfil promises made to the constituent parties, alleged People’s Republican Party (PRP). The party’s working president Jaydeep Kawade said, “All the constituent parties are always getting secondary treatment from Congress, NCP and Sena.” This allegation comes in the wake of an outburst from Ramtek MLA Aashish Jaiswal, who was unhappy with the way development funds are being distributed. Jaiswal won the 2019 polls as an independent, but he has been a lifelong Shiv Sainik and his allegiance remains with that party only. Kawade said, “The MVA comprises many small constituent parties, and not just the big three. If the Congress is using the blue flag for Phule, Shahu, Ambedkarite ideology votes, then the Congress should consider the 2019 elections where it did not perform well. We want that a special meeting of all the constituent parties of the Maha Vikas Aghadi should be convened at the earliest.”
