PANAJI: The Class X results of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education can be expected around May 28, sources said. Goa Board chairman Bhagirath Shetye did not commit on the date, but said on Saturday that the result is likely to be declared ‘next week’. In 2022, a total of 20,594 students – 10,539 boys and 10,055 girls— from across 400 secondary schools had registered for the exam. Goa Board introduced a special scheme for Class X and XII in 2021-22 dividing the academic year into two terms – the first ending in November-December and the second in April-May The first terminal examination was held in December/January for 50% of the portion. The second terminal exam was conducted from April 5 onwards for the remaining 50% of the portion.
