Police honour public prosecutor

Thiruvananthapuram: Public prosecutor M Salahudeen has been honoured by police for his continuous victories in various prosecution cases. Thiruvananthapuram south zone IG P Prakash IPS felicitated him by presenting a memento and citation. Rural police chief Divya V Gopinath, assistant police commissioner (crime records bureau), J K Dinil and advocates Vinu Murali, Mohitha Mohan and Deepa Vishwanath were present during the function.
It was by considering his performance in various murder cases in rural areas, such as Madavoorppara Satheeshan, Varkkala Soman, Varkkala Sugathan, Muttakkadu Padmakumar, Vithura Sundaran, Karakkamandapam Rafeeq etc, he was honoured. “In all the cases, prosecution succeeded in getting the accused punished,” said P Prakash.
