Fuel price cut will bring relief, says Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

LUCKNOW: After the central government announced a cut in central excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre, besides a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder for beneficiaries under the PM Ujjwala Yojana, chief minister Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said it would provide huge relief to the people.
“Reduction in central excise duty would result in a drop of Rs 9.50 per litre on petrol and Rs 7 per litre on diesel. This decision will bring huge relief to farmers, middle class, poor families and women. I am grateful to the PM for this decision,” the CM tweeted.
