MUMBAI: Even as Shiv Sena leader and transport minister Anil Parab has declared that the Sena will contest the sixth Rajya Sabha seat from the state, state Congress president Nana Patole on Friday said that a decision on the sixth seat would be taken at a meeting of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi. “MVA leaders will meet soon and then take a decision. It will not be a unilateral decision, we will decide by consensus,” Patole said. Sena MP Sanjay Raut too had said that the party would contest the sixth seat. Elections are scheduled for six Rajya Sabha seats from Maharashtra on June 10.Patole said that Congress legislators led by revenue minister Balasaheb Thorat will soon meet CM Uddhav Thackeray to lodge a protest against poor funds allocated for Congress legislators.
