Father-son die in fire due to gas leak in Jalandhar

JALANDHAR: A father-son duo were killed after there was an explosion in their small house apparently due to gas leakage in the kitchen.
It is learnt that deceased Ram Kumar, a migrant worker, had moved into the house with his family a few days ago.
The explosion happened when his wife burnt a match stick in the morning and the house caught fire. It is suspected that gas kept on leaking from the LPG cylinder at night.
Ram Kumar and his one-and-a-half-year-old child were killed due to burn injuries, while his wife and another five-year-old child were injured.
