A police complaint has been filed by the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) against vlogger Rohan Tyagi. The vlogger triggered a row earlier this week by taking his dog to the Kedarnath shrine. He also got a priest to put a tilak on the dog’s forehead. BKTC slammed the Noida-based vlogger for uploading the video of the act on Instagram adding it had “nothing to do with devotion”. After filing a complaint with police on Thursday evening, BKTC president Ajendra Ajay said that Tyagi’s act was highly objectionable as it hurts the religious sentiments of people who have faith in Baba Kedarnath. However, a case is yet to be registered in the matter. The police said that they have received the complaint but a case hasn’t been registered yet. They are first verifying the video.
