Professor Neelofer Khan becomes the first female Vice Chancellor of University of Kashmir on May 19. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha appointed Neelofer Khan, as the new Vice Chancellor. Professor Neelofer Khan was born in Barzulla area of Srinagar and completed her education from Convent School, Srinagar. She is the first female professor of the University and has served 37 years in the prestigious campus of Kashmir.
