Debt-riden farmer ends life

Rajkot: A 65-year-old farmer committed suicide due to severe financial crisis in Jamnagar district's Hajaam Chora village in Dhrol taluka on Thursday night. The deceased Ravji Rasamiya's brother told police that the former was facing financial crunch and he consumed poison in their farm. Moreover, Rasamiya's younger son was physically challenged, which kept him constantly worried about his future, police said. tnn
