Youth blackmails woman, arrested

Mysuru: A youth has been arrested for allegedly blackmailing a woman. Shivakumar of Nanjangud was picked up by the women police station personnel of Mysuru after the victim complained last week. Shivakumar had allegedly blackmailed the woman and extracted money from her after threatening to leak their photographs. Police are verifying his antecedents to know if he has cheated other women after befriending them on social media. SP R Chethan said an investigation is on. TNN
