Play on Tukaram

Hubballi: Rangarekha Kala Balaga will stage devotional play ‘Santha Thukaram’ at Sawai Gandharva hall here on May 22. Director Basavaraj Chakrasali said the event will be inaugurated by Vishaka Satyanarayana M, former Rangayana director, in the presence of Subash Narendra, assistant director of the Kannada and culture department, and others. The event is being organised in collaboration with the Kannada and culture department, he added. The play, on the life and times of of Santha Thukaram, will be staged by 20 artistes.
