‘Meet Buddha Nullah Dec deadline’

Ludhiana: A review meeting of Buddha Nullah rejuvenation plan was carried out by MC commissioner Shena Aggarwal on Thursday at Jamalpur STP. The officials from various departments of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) were present there.
The PSPCL officials weer told to install 66kv substation at STP site by November because civic body requires power connection for making the STP operational. The PEDA officials are asked to establish one biogas plant at Tajpur Road dairy complex to curb direct discharge of waste to Buddha Nullah or sewer system.
One of the officials claimed that at least 60% work of installing STP at Jamalpur is complete. The deadline of the project is December. tnn
