520 new Covid cases in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi recorded 520 new Covid-19 cases and one more death on Thursday, while the positivity rate declined to 2.09 per cent, according to data shared by the city health department.
With the new cases, Delhi’s Covid-19 caseload increased to 19,02,180, while the death toll rose to 26,199.
A total of 24,918 Covid-19 tests were conducted a day ago, the department said in its latest health bulletin.
“There has been a significant decline in new cases over the past few weeks. This is really good. But we have to keep our guards up. Surveillance to check for new variants has to continue,” Dr Neeraj Nischal, additional professor in the department of medicine, said.
